4th Annual Doodle 4 Google Contest Begins

Google Inc has kicked off the 4th Annual Doodle 4 Google Contest. The theme of this contest is "What I'd like to do someday". All U.S. K-12 students are invited to participate in this contest. Google will reward an amount of $15,000 scholarship to the child who wins this contest. Also child’s school will get an amount of $25,000.

The Doodle which wins the contest will be featured on Google’s Home Page on May 20, 2011 for 24 hours. All the students must get registered by March 2, 2011.

  • Forty Regional Finalists
  • Four Hundred State Finalists
  • Two After School Program Awards

  • Whoopi Goldberg, Award Winning Actress
  • Jim Davis, Creator, "Garfield" Comic Strip 
  • Evan Lysacek, Gold Medalist & World Champion, Ice Skating 
  • Paul Tibbitt, Executive Producer, "SpongeBob SquarePants" 
  • Jeff Kinney, Author, "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" 
  • Tony Cervone, Supervising Producer, Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated & The Looney Tunes Show, Warner Bros. Animation 
  • Beverly Cleary, Author & Illustrator, Children’s Books 
  • Maira Kalman, Author & Illustrator, Children’s Books 
  • Scott McCloud, Cartoonist and various other illustrators, animators etc.
